Pastry Chef de Partie:

A stunning Hotel based in Surrey is looking to recruit a Pastry Chef de Partie to join their expanding Pastry team within the kitchen.

Responsibilities for the Pastry Chef de Partie role are:

  • Work closely with the Head Chef and rest of the kitchen team to develop the Pastry and Bakery offering
  • Ensure the smooth running of the Pastry section
  • Help the team achieve the standards it desires

Our client is a stunning luxury 4 star hotel set amongst 50 acres of stunning gardens & parklands in Surrey. A historic family owned property that has moved into the 21st century with a clever mix of traditional and contemporary features.  The hotel boasts a very modern and purpose built business centre that has meeting rooms that open up onto beautifully tended gardens and open space, providing fantastic break-out areas for the delegates.

This is an extremely busy hotel for functions, private dining, weddings and afternoon teas and is often booked up for two weddings and multiple functions and private dining all in the same day. Events are a unique selling point for this property as they offer lavish ceremonies within the gardens and grounds that allow pictures to be taken behind the most divine backdrops to make it a truly remarkable day to remember for all. 

Essential Elements:

This position will suit an individual with previous Pastry Chef experience to a high level, looking for the position of Pastry Chef de Partie within a fresh food led Hotel.

  • Experience in the Pastry Section – Rosette background advantageous, although not essential
  • Knowledge of seasonal produce and have the ability to incorporate it in to exciting menus
  • Desire to learn under an experienced team of Chefs
